Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary

James Killmond is the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA), having previously served as a Senior Counselor in the Office of the Solicitor at the Department of Labor. As the Principal Deputy, Mr. Killmond is involved in EBSA's regulatory, outreach and enforcement activities for retirement and healthcare plans. Before joining the Trump Administration, Mr. Killmond has spent his career in the financial industry, mostly as a lawyer advising investment partnerships with a focus on venture capital funds.
