Annual FOIA Reports
The Annual FOIA Reports contain detailed statistics on agencies' FOIA activities, including the number of FOIA requests and appeals received, processed, and pending. These reports are required to be submitted to the Attorney General each year by no later than February 1. Reports documenting DOL's FOIA compliance with this mandate are found here.
Chief FOIA Officer Reports
In accordance with the President's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Memorandum of January 21, 2009, the Attorney General issued FOIA Guidelines on March 19, 2009, calling on all agencies to reaffirm the government's commitment to accountability and transparency. Reports documenting DOL's compliance with this mandate are found here.
Each quarter, all agencies must provide the number of requests received, processed, and in the agency's backlog.
