Joseph Burgese

Joseph Burgese is the Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Labor under Acting Secretary Keith Sonderling. Joseph previously served as Policy Advisor in the Wage and Hour Division and Chief of Staff in the Office of Public Liaison, where he served as the primary contact to outside stakeholders. Prior to being appointed in the Trump Administration, Joseph worked in the private sector focusing on business development and financial strategy. He has also worked on gubernatorial, congressional and senate campaigns throughout Pennsylvania, where he advised on strategy implementation, and he is a proud alumnus of Turning Point USA.

Joseph is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, where he served as Student Body Vice President and President of the Senate/Chair of the budget and appropriations committee. He also has an MBA from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
